We have quite a few media reports on Chinese police and troops’ battle against terrorists in Xinjiang for 56 days. The reports are all based on an official microblog of China’s Ministry of Public Security.

The microblog was reblogged by the Peoples’ Daily and lots of official media but was soon deleted.

SCMP quotes the microblog in its report today as saying “On November 13, the black Friday, Paris was hit by the most serious terrorist attack in its history, with hundreds of casualties. On the other side of the planet, China’s police force in Xinjiang, after hunting for 56 days, finally achieved a tremendous outcome.”
